Carlton Clocks provided a very friendly and efficient service - I needed help with fixing the hands onto a clock I had bought. I was also given a free valuation for an old clock that I am thinking of selling. I will certainly go back next time I need help with clocks!

I brought a long case clock in for some help (partly because I had bent some of the components) and to check the cost of getting it going again. They were very professional, very informative and very friendly. I cannot recommend them highly enough

I can't thank or praise the guys at Carlton Clocks in Little Chalfont highly enough. I went in to the shop yesterday with a 5 year old modern style chiming wall clock that had stopped chiming expecting the worse!! i.e. either an expensive repair or a costly replacement. However a quick explanation of the problem from me and an even quicker probe and adjustment with screwdriver while I waited and all was sorted! No cost, no fee and with the helpful advice that the chiming mechanism might not last forever, and especially not by means of a simple screwdriver "fix", but all should be fine. And all has been fine since getting the clock home! A six star service if I could award such a thing! Many thanks indeed.

Very helpful friendly staff. I went in today to get some advice on a clock which I thought was broken the guys were very helpful and it just so happened it wasn't broken, great news! I was given a lesson on how to care for my clock and would also recommend anyone to just go and take a look at the beautiful clocks they have for sale.

What a find. The display of clocks is amazing. We had been looking for ages for someone to repair our mercury barometer. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The barometer was righted in a trice by a very knowledgeable horologist. We are returning next week with a treasured clock to be cleaned and mended.

Took in a ship clock which had stopped working. The chap immediately took it apart and clearly explained the problem and the possible solutions. Was told it would be ready in 2-3 weeks. Two days later I received a call to tell me it was ready, and the cost was less than I had expected. Brilliant service. Cannot speak highly enough of Carlton Clocks and would certainly use again!

I took a wall clock in, which had fallen down and I thought needed a new mechanism. One of the guys stopped what he was doing, looked at it and repaired it in 5 minutes. It was only a bent shaft, but he did it quickly, politely at no charge. Real old-fashioned service!
